DOES SPECIFIC TIME AND PLACE DETERMINES THE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL CONSTRUCTION ON IDENTITY
With the pass of time, people have change the definition of concepts and the way of seeing.
Example of how the concept of beauty in a specific time can influence the way a group of people see themselves: the idea that Victoria’s Secret an Underclothes companies show us prototypes of how the “perfect woman” should be. Regarding to We Re-Created The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show And It Was So Much Fun, “The women are usually all cisgender, with long hair (though several models had short hair this year), extremely tall, and of course, thin.” Everyday, women around the world try very hard to look like those models because they consider them beautiful. With this idea, people forget their true identity, by only caring about looking like those “perfect models” and they forget the real beauty is how you are inside, not what your body shows to the world.
In this case, we can say that Colombia are the "women around the world" and Europe and United States are "the perfect models". Everyday Colombia tries very hard to look like other countries and as a result, what we are doing is forgetting our true identify and were we come from.
EXPLAIN THE ROLE OF ARTISTIC MANIFESTATIONS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF CULTURAL AND SOCIAL IDENTITY
The role of artistic manifestations in our society is very clear. In their works, artists express their feelings and thoughts about some common facts happening in the world. For example, regarding the winner of the presidential elections of the United States, Donald Trump, some people are not satisfied with the president of their country and artists take advantage of this situation to create works about it. A clear example of an artist´s point of view can be shown in the work “Make America Great Again” by Illma Gore. This painting has been viral to the point where the artist has received threats. “A group of Trump supporters have made it their mission to try to get me reported for obscenity, they've been saying children can view it and it's sexual harassment to Donald Trump. So, Facebook has been deleting it.”

HOW DO YOU THINK THIS ALBUM REVEALS THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE LATIN AMERICAN IDENTITY?
This can be reflected in my art work that shows the Latin American identity since it represents a historical conflict in the Valle del Cauca, the consequences of violence and displacement that this conflict generated in the place. I achieved this work basing on the documents and the main topic seen in each subject, as most of them showed how a conflicts or situation in specific place can modify the identity of the people of that place.
